Lifetime Confronts Unemployment With Lauch Of 'The Fairy Jobmother'

Treading into the reality of the unemployed, Lifetime Television will launch the unscripted series, The Fairy Jobmother, next month.
Based on a British format from Studio Lambert (Undercover Boss),The Fairy Jobmother will follow international career specialist Hayley Taylor as she assists job-challenged families with a no-nonsense approach to motivate them to get back on the payroll.
Lifetime will preview the first on eight one-hour installment on Oct. 28 at 11 p.m., following the season-finale of Project Runway. The Fairy Jobmother will then move to its regular timeslot, Thursdays at 9 p.m., beginning Nov. 4.
Taylor will help families by confronting the unspoken truths responsible for placing them into their current situations.  By the end of each episode, she transforms their lives, not only with the opportunity of employment on the horizon, but a different attitude towards themselves and their family members.
"This innovative series will help American families in need of assistance by motivating them to get back on track in an entertaining, constructive and effective way," said Nancy Dubuc, president and general manager of Lifetime Networks and History in announcing the reality series. "The Fairy Jobmother uniquely complements Lifetime's unscripted strategy and will further strengthen our success among women Thursday evenings."
