Lifetime Counterprogramming Games with Movies


Lifetime Television has some "TV Movie Gold" for viewers who don’t care about the gold, silver and bronze of the Summer Olympic Games.

The network said Wednesday that it will air 20 movies Aug. 13-30, including seven network premieres. All 20 were chosen by viewers on the network’s Web site (

The seven premieres: Run for the Dream: The Gail Devers Story Friday, Aug. 13 at 7 p.m. (EST/PST); The Colony Saturday, Aug. 14 at 8 p.m.; Georgia Sunday, Aug. 15 at 4:30 p.m.; Water's Edge Saturday, Aug. 21 at 8 p.m.; Deliberate Intent Sunday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m.; Sharing the Secret Sunday, Aug. 29 at 9 p.m.; and Overboard Monday, Aug. 30 at 9 p.m.
