Lifetime Movie Network Scores With Original Movie

Lifetime Movie Network's Feb. 15 premiere of telefilm Taken In Broad Daylight was the second highest-rated and most-watched movie in the service's 10-year history.
The original movie averaged a 2.2 household rating and 1.9 million viewers during its debut, according to Nielsen Media Research date. Taken in Broad Daylight now ranks as the network's second highest-rated and most-watched original movie premiere in its history among households and women 18 to 34.
Taken in Broad Daylight is inspired by the survival story of a 17-year-old girl who was kidnapped by a criminal and taken on a harrowing, six-day multi-state journey. The yteen left clues for police as she tried to outwit her captor. In keeping a level head, she was able to engineer her own remarkable rescue. The movie starred James Van Der Beek (Dawson's Creek, Varsity Blues), Sara Canning (Smallville, Kyle XY) and LeVar Burton (Roots, Star Trek: The Next Generation).
