Lifetime Entertainment Services announced Tuesday that Tricia Melton has
become vice president of marketing for its various cable networks.
Previously serving in a similar capacity at archrival Oxygen Media since 1999
(and before that at Food Network), Melton replaces Joan Blanski, who left
Lifetime at the end of last year.
Reporting to senior VP of marketing, advertising and promotion Tom Hanft,
Melton will oversee consumer marketing, ad-sales marketing, affiliate marketing
and synergy marketing for Lifetime Television, Lifetime Movie Network and
Lifetime Real Women.
