Lifetime Magazine's launch will be promoted via consumer and trade print
campaigns breaking Monday and running into April, when the first issue hits
The headline will say, "Here's the scoop on the biggest launch of the year."
Copy will describe the publication as "another original from Lifetime
Television" and point out that its first issues will be dated May/June and
The magazine, a joint venture of Hearst Corp. and The Walt Disney Co.
(partners in Lifetime Entertainment Services), will go monthly with the
September issue, the campaign will add.
Besides The New York Times and the Chicago Tribune, the
campaign will run in Advertising Age, Adweek, Cosmetic
World and Women's Wear Daily.
