Lifetime Television Tuesday confirmed there will be a second edition of How to Look Good Naked, the reality series that averaged more than 1.1 million viewers per episode in its recently concluded inaugural season.
“This heartwarming series succeeds because it shows women they should accept, and even flaunt their healthy bodies, whatever shape or type they are, without resorting to plastic surgery or extreme diets,” Susanne Daniels, the network’s president of entertainment, said in a statement.
The second season of the “internal and external” makeover show will be expanded from 30 minutes to a full hour per episode.
Lifetime said ratings for the first season garnered a 53% jump in viewership among women 18-34 and an 11% bump among women between 18 and 49.
The network’s summer programming kicks off in June with the return of its hit drama Army Wives on June 8.
