Lifetime Television will pick up popular police drama The Division for a third
The network has ordered another 22 episodes of the series from Viacom Productions, executive vice president of entertainment Barbara Fisher announced Tuesday.
The Division, from executive producer and creator Deborah Joy LeVine, explores the professional and personal lives of five very different San Francisco police officers.
Now in its second season, it has averaged a 2.4 household rating on Sunday nights, up 9 percent from its rookie year.
A Lifetime spokeswoman said the third season of The Division would bow next January.
