Lifetime Sets Achievement Awards


Lifetime Television has scheduled Lifetime's Achievement Awards: Women
Changing the World
May 22 at 10 p.m.

Hosted by country singer Naomi Judd, the 90-minute special will be edited
down from ceremonies that will take place at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom May

Actress Mary Tyler Moore will be given "Lifetime's Spirit Award," for a life
that's been "a source of both inspiration and joy to women everywhere."

The special is one element in the network's annual "Be Your Own Hero"
public-awareness campaign celebrating "the strengths, talents, achievements and
determination of women and girls," Lifetime said.

Moreover, the inaugural May/June issue of Lifetime magazine will
feature an article on "The Hidden Key to Self-Confidence."
