Lifetime Sets ‘Live PD’ Spinoff

Lifetime in June will launch a spinoff from A&E’s successful series Live PD that will shine a light on female officers.

The 20-episode series, Live PD Presents: Women On Patrol, will follow female law enforcement officers around the country including departments in Jackson, Wyo.; Wilmington, N.C.; Tempe, Ariz.; and Stockton, Calif., as well as officers featured on Live PD, said network officials.

Live PD producers Big Fish Entertainment will produce the spinoff series, which will debut June 4, said the network.

Also premiering on that date is the fourth season of unscripted series Escaping Polygamy, which follows the lives of sisters Andrea, Jessica and Shanell, who daringly left The Kingston Clan, a powerful polygamous group based in Salt Lake City, Utah, known as “The Order.”

In the upcoming season the sisters help followers of other polygamous groups escape, including those in The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and the Apostolic United Brethren, according to network officials.

Escaping Polygamy is produced by RIVR Media, with Dee Haslam, Rob Lundgren, and Lori Stryer serving as executive producers.
