Heather Locklear is returning to Lifetime, starring in a new telefilm for the women's-targeted service in 2011.
Locklear, who led Lifetime's Flirting with Forty, a story of a divorced mother of two on the brink of her 40th birthday finds an unexpected romance with a much younger man, this time will star in the psychological thriller He Loves Me.
By all appearances, Laura (Locklear) in He Love Me believes she leads the idyllic life. A successful Seattle real estate agent, she's married to one of the city's leading cardiologists and mother to their six-year-old daughter. But Laura begins to suspect her husband is cheating on her and is devastated by his infidelity, despite having a torrid affair of her own. As she attempts to save her marriage, Laura's mysterious past begins to emerge, making her more paranoid, delusional and violent in alarming ways. As her mental state continues to unravel, whoever gets in the way of Laura's myriad of fantasies becomes expendable, ultimately revealing the shocking dream world that insulates her from reality.
Produced by Tell Me a Story Productions for Lifetime, He Loves Me will be executive-produced by Anne Carlucci (Lifetime's Hostile Makeover, Killer Hair) and produced by Harvey Kahn (Lifetime Movie Network's Sins of the Mother). Jeff Renfroe (Lifetime Movie Network's Seven Deadly Sins) will direct the teleplay by Joyce Brotman (The Soul Collector).
