Logo, the gay-targeted network debuting next month, has added a new coming-out reality show, a travel series and a documentary to its roster, officials said Tuesday.
Open Bar is about a man who decides to come out as a gay to family and friends, told against the backdrop of his work opening a new gay bar in West Hollywood.
Out & About is a globe-trotting travel-magazine series that avoids the usual sites and seeks out little-known alternatives in one international location each week.
And with The Ride, Logo celebrates this year’s AIDS/Lifecycle 4 ride with a multipart documentary capturing the determination and joy that is part of the event, where cyclists travel 585 miles in seven days from San Francisco to Los Angeles to fight HIV and AIDS.
“These new series for Logo all explore similar themes of a community expanding its definitions and quite literally being on the move,” said Brian Graden, president of Logo and MTV Networks Entertainment.
