Denver— Xiaolin Lu, the man who put the 'X' in OXiom, confirmed last week that he will leave AT&T Broadband after next month's National Show in Chicago.

Lu, the MSO's vice president of strategic engineering and Internet-protocol networks, declined to provide specifics about his near-term plans, but said his next move will keep him in the cable industry.

Lu presently serves as a member of AT&T Broadband's new broadband-services division, headed by Greg Braden, the MSO's executive vice president of broadband services and CTO.
