Magness Autopsy Results Released

Kim Magness, son of late Tele-Communications Inc. founder Bob Magness, died
of a ruptured spleen, according to the Denver Medical Examiner's Office.

Kim Magness was found dead in his locked hotel room March 29 and
investigators ruled the death suspicious.

According to the coroner's report, the cable heir apparently suffered a fall
days before his death, damaging the internal organ and causing a hemorrhage.

A small amount of cocaine was detected in his blood, but the coroner wrote in
the autopsy report that an undiagnosed case of liver cancer, as well as
cirrhosis, were the secondary causes of Kim Magness' death.
