Scripps Networks said Tuesday that January was a record-breaking month for its Scripps Online Web properties.
The programmer said HGTV.com (www.hgtv.com), FoodNetwork.com (www.foodtv.com), DIYnetwork.com (www.diynet.com) and FineLiving.com (www.fineliving.com) rang up nearly 14 million unique visitors and 475.4 million page views during the month, making Scripps Online the top destination in the home and fashion category, according to Nielsen//NetRatings data.
And in its first month, business-to-business broadband channel HGTVPro.com (www.hgtv.com/hgtv/hgtv_pr) made its debut with 380,000 unique visitors and more than 1.5 million page views, Scripps Networks added.
“Our online brands provide network information and instructional content relevant for both our television audiences and first-time users," Scripps Networks senior vice president and general manager, online division Ron Feinbaum said in a prepared statement.
“The increase in visitors and page views reaffirms that our users enjoy the online content we provide, which demonstrates strong value for our advertisers,” he added.
