Dallas -- Marcus Cable Co. L.P. has completed the
previously announced sale of nonclustered cable systems in Connecticut and Virginia to TMC
Holdings Inc. for $150 million, the company announced last week.
The systems have a total of 63,000 subscribers, meaning
that the sale price works out to about $2,380 per subscriber. Marcus sold the systems as
part of a block of nearly 200,000 subscribers, taking in a total of about $405 million.
Waller Capital Corp. represented Marcus.
The systems were put up for sale before billionaire Paul
Allen agreed to buy Marcus for $2.8 billion in April.
