Martha Stewart will give a keynote address Wednesday at the PROMAX&BDA conference in New York, her spokeswoman, Elizabeth Estroff, said Thursday afternoon.
The appearance by Stewart is a huge score for PROMAX&BDA, considering that Stewart has made few public appearances since she was released from prison in March.
Stewart -- who will launch syndicated daytime program Martha this fall -- is scheduled to address PROMAX&BDA’s audience of marketing executives and promotion designers Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Marriot Marquis.
NBC Universal Television Group president Jeff Zucker, whose company is distributing Martha, will take the podium before Stewart.
After Stewart addresses PROMAX&BDA -- which is expected to draw more than 3,000 attendees -- she is scheduled to host a luncheon for NBC affiliates.
