New Federal Communications Commission chairman Kevin Martin will participate in a National Show general session Tuesday, April 5 at 9:30 a.m. (PST), the National Cable & Telecommunications Association said Wednesday.
Fox News Channel’s Stuart Varney will interview Martin about his agenda for the FCC and issues affecting the cable and telecommunications industries.
Martin had originally been scheduled to participate in a panel discussion at a public-policy luncheon at the confab April 5 before being appointed FCC chairman March 18. The National Show appearance will mark his first before the cable industry since the appointment.
The 2005 National Show, the NCTA’s 54th Annual Convention & International Exposition will be held April 3-5 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
