BendBroadband has added men’s-targeted network MavTV to its digital-cable lineup.
The rollout by the Oregon based triple-play provider occurred last month, according to officials at the network, which counts some 6 million U.S. subscribers through carriage contracts with Cablevision Systems Corp., Charter Communications Corp. and Verizon’s FiOS TV. Deal terms with BendBroadband were not disclosed.
Featuring an array of sports, comedy, gadgets, lifestyles, and gaming fare, MavTV also showcases a host of original programming such as American Tailgater, Ultimate Combat Experience, Firepower TV and AMA Pro Racing.
“MavTV is another example of what sets BendBroadband apart from the competition,” said John Farwell, vice president of business operations for BendBroadband in a statement. “We’re constantly looking at ways to ensure our subscribers have as many viewing options as possible, and we believe MavTV’s unique programming will resonate with our customers and add value to our line up.”
