McGrath to Head Comedy Central

Fresh off finalizing its purchase of Comedy Central, Viacom Inc.'s MTV
Networks has assigned newly named group president Judy McGrath to oversee the
network.

McGrath will add Comedy to her duties as head of MTV: Music Television, MTV2,
VH1 and Country Music Television, company executives said.

Comedy president Larry Divney will report directly to McGrath.

'Judy's accomplishments over the years speak for themselves,' MTVN chairman and CEO Tom Freston said in a release.

'She has an unmatched creative vision and a proven ability to build,
strengthen and transform powerful brands. and I am thrilled to have her take on
this added role and new challenge.'

Also named as MTVN group president Thursday was longtime MTVN executive Herb
Scannell, who will continue to oversee operations for Nickelodeon/Nick at Nite,
TV Land, Noggin and The New TNN, which will soon be renamed Spike TV.

Both McGrath and Scannell will report to
Freston.
