Mega TV Brings 'Poker en Español'

Publish date:

SBS-owned network Mega TV on June 27 will premiere a
Spanish-language poker series, pitched as the only Latino-targeted poker series
on Hispanic TV.

The half-hour series will be broadcast weeknights at
midnight and its creators hope to quickly attract a large audience.

"Latino Poker Series
is an untapped, but proven model," said William Riveron, executive producer and
CEO of Latino Poker Series Inc.

Joining the players of Latino
Poker Series
are three poker enthusiasts: commentator Danny Rivera, a radio
personality; Yami Quintero, who will serve as hostess of the show; and Artie
Rodriguez, an avid poker player  who will
be the color analyst.

The series has signed COMANDON Cognac as its first marketing
sponsor, and is in the search of additional marketing partners.
