Melton to Head TBS Marketing


Cable marketing veteran Tricia Garrett Melton has joined TBS Superstation as
senior vice president of marketing, the network announced Monday.

She had been VP of marketing at Lifetime Television.

Melton will be responsible for the strategic and creative development of all
marketing for TBS. She will be based in Atlanta and report to Steve Koonin,
executive VP and chief operating officer of TBS Superstation and Turner Network

During Melton’s tenure at Lifetime, she successfully launched two new
original series, Wild Card and 1-800-MISSING. She also developed
the marketing plan for the most successful special in the network’s history,
The Golden Girls Reunion.

Prior to Lifetime, Melton served as VP of marketing for Oxygen Media. Before
that, she held the same post with Food Network.
