Methven Takes Helm at Ceon

Broadband billing-software firm Ceon Corp. has tapped cable veteran Jack
Methven as chairman and CEO.

Former Ceon CEO and president Tim Fritzley will retain the latter title, the
company said.

Methven previously served as chief operating officer at A2000
Telecommunications, an Amsterdam, Netherlands-based MSO that once was jointly
owned by MediaOne Group Inc. and United Pan-European Communications N.V.
(UPC).

Most recently, Methven was CEO of broadband consulting firm Methven &
Associates.

Redwood City, Calif.-based Ceon said Methven joined the company in concert
with the 3.0 release of 'It's On,' a suite of automated broadband
service-fulfillment applications.
