Metro Debuts Sports-Doc Series

Metro will take New York sports fans on trips back in time with some of their
heroes via a new documentary series.

The Rainbow Media Holdings Inc. network will bow Metro Sports Legends
April 20 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., when it tackles the story of legendary New York
Jets quarterback Joe Namath.

Network plans call for a quartet of Metro Sports Legends documentaries
to air over each of the next three years. The 12 original one-hour installments
will focus on the most influential people, places and moments in sports history
that occurred in the New York area.

Broadway Joe will feature interviews with Namath, as well as his
teammates. In addition to his on-field exploits, the documentary delves into
Namath's celebrity status steeled by his then-record signing bonus, his prowess
on Madison Avenue and the controversies surrounding his opening of the Bachelor
III restaurant.
