Mets Go Bilingual on MSG

Continuing to seek opportunities to fill the void left by the loss of New
York Yankees Major League Baseball games, Madison Square Garden Networks will
air 10 New York Mets games in Spanish on Fox Sports New York, while
simultaneously airing them in English on MSG.

The 10 Spanish-language Mets games will commence with the May 28
Mets-Philadelphia Phillies contest, network officials said.

Along with dedicated announcers, the 'Mets en Español' telecasts will also
feature Spanish graphics.

'We already offer Spanish-language SAP [second audio program] 100 times a
year on our regular telecasts, but this gives a huge segment of the audience a
chance to experience a full-fledged production in their primary language,' MSG
Networks executive vice president Mike McCarthy said in a prepared
statement.

Mets games are airing on both MSG and FSNY this season to help compensate for
MSG's loss of more than 100 Yankees games to the upstart Yankees Entertainment
& Sports Network.
