Mexicanal Goes Multicast In Big D

The Mexicanal Network has scored a multicast launch in Dallas.

The service, which features regional news, sports, popular entertainment and culturally relevant programs direct from regions throughout Mexico, is now available on KJJM-DT2 TV-34. Deal terms were not disclosed
Officials at Mexicanal Network, formed jointly by Mecican cable television provider Cablecom and Castalia Communications, said the rollout places the channel in the nation's No. 5 DMA, one where 26% of the population is Hispanic.
Mexicanal now reaches more than 2.4 million homes through a mix of cable, satellite and multicast distribution.
