Microtune Inc. chairman and CEO Douglas Bartek announced his resignation
Sunday.
The Plano, Texas-based cable-modem-component vendor named director James
Clardy and chief technology officer Albert Taddiken to run the show while it
searches for a successor.
Microtune has been sputtering since February, when it launched an
investigation into its fourth-quarter earnings.
The company, which delayed filings its quarterly and annual reports with the
Securities and Exchange Commission in May, said it still plans to file at the
end of July.
