ESPN Radio’s Mike and Mike in the Morning will move from ESPNEWS to ESPN2 Monday, Jan. 2.
Mike and Mike in the Morning airs Monday-Friday from 6 a.m.-10 a.m. (EST).
Following the move, ESPNEWS will air its signature 30-minute news and highlights telecast throughout the morning, while ESPN2 will shift Cold Pizza from 10 a.m.-noon. ESPN will continue running 60-minute or 90-minute editions of SportsCenter.
“Sports fans can pick between three distinct and engaging morning television options,” ESPN executive vice president of remote and studio production Norby Williamson said in a prepared statement. “ESPN2’s combination of Mike and Mike and Cold Pizza will provide more sports commentary and variety. SportsCenter offers our signature treatment, while ESPNEWS provides a more compact review of the world in sports.”
