Millennium Turns to Juniper

Millennium Digital Media will replace its legacy routers with Juniper Networks Inc.’s “M10i” edge routing platforms, the vendor said Wednesday.

Millennium provides broadband services such as analog- and digital-cable television, high-speed Internet access and other telecommunications services throughout Maryland, Washington, Oregon and Michigan.

“MDM is committed to delivering best-in-class broadband and Internet services to our customers, but our existing routers were reaching the limits of their capabilities," chief operating officer John Brooks said in a prepared statement.

"The Juniper Networks solution will enable us to deliver an increased range of advanced services with the assured quality and reliability MDM customers expect, while providing the scalability we require to support future growth,” he added.
