Monster, Comcast Bring Listings For Jobs To Video on Demand

Monster Worldwide and Comcast Spotlight, in a three-year commitment, will offer Monster's recruitment services on Comcast's digital-cable on-demand platform, the companies said.

Beginning in November, Comcast digital cable customers across the country can access "Monster On Demand" for job listings and employment resources with their remote control. Monster will be the exclusive provider of job listings on Comcast's Searchlight ad-supported VOD platform, as well as the exclusive sales arm for Monster On Demand.

The Monster-branded On Demand channel, located in Comcast's On Demand menu under "Searchlight," also accessible directly at channel 888, will give listings that drive viewers to a co-branded web site -- -- where they will have the ability to further connect with featured companies and submit resumes.

Monster's employer customers will tap about 16.5 million Comcast homes in more than 70 Designated Markets Areas (DMAs). Monster On Demand will use ad-sales provider Comcast Spotlight's On Demand publishing platform, which converts listings into VOD assets.
