TVMT, which will provide live coverage of every floor session of the Montana House and Senate, will debut across the state in January, AP reported.
The network will also air committee meetings and other live and taped proceedings of the 90-day legislative session, according to AP.
TVMT will be available in eight markets to about 350,000 cable customers across the state, AP reported.
“No commercials, no sound-biting, no twisting. Basically, no editing," Stephen Maly, director of Helena Civic Television and leader of the effort to start the network, told AP. “We can cover hearings from any room used in the Capitol.”
