More Guest Stars Check Into Showtime's 'Californication'

Showtime's Californication continues to firm up the talent roster for its upcoming third season.

Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl), Embeth Davidtz (In Treatment), Eva Amurri (Saved!) and rocker Rick Springfield (General Hospital) will join guest star during Californication's 12-episode third campaign, which is set to debut this fall. They join recently announced guest stars Kathleen Turner, Diane Farr and Peter Gallagher.
In the third season season, Hank (David Duchovny) becomes a professor at a university where he'll attempt to shape the minds of the next generation of aspiring writers while trying to hold down a ‘regular' job and keep wild child daughter Becca (Madeleine Martin) on the straight and narrow.
Westwick will play Balt, a student of Hank's with a thing for vampire literature in the season's second installment. Amurri, the daughter of Susan Sarandon, will also appear as a student in several episodes.
Springfield, whose acting credits also include turns in The Six Million Dollar Man and Suddenly Susan, will star in at least one episode, according to Showtime officials.

For her part, Davidtz will play Felicia Koons, wife of the dean of students (as portrayed by Gallagher) in 10 installments.
