NBC's Tsunami Aid: A Concert of Hope is getting more star power.
The national telethon for tsunami disaster relief will air live at 8 p.m. (EST) Saturday on the broadcast network and its affiliates, as well as on NBC Universal sister services Bravo, USA Network, Trio, Sci Fi Channel, MSNBC, CNBC, Pax TV and Telemundo.
Brad Pitt, Robert DeNiro, Andy Garcia and Hugh Grant have joined the telethon’s roster, AP reported Friday.
They join previously announced celebrities including Lucy Liu, Josh Groban, Jay Leno, Natalie Portman, Nicolette Sheridan, Naomi Watts, Stevie Wonder, Meg Ryan, Clint Eastwood, Mary J. Blige and George Clooney.
SBC Communications Inc. said Thursday that it will underwrite Tsunami Aid.
