Cable Television Laboratories Inc. awarded Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification 2.0 and 1.1 qualification to Motorola Inc.’s “Broadband Services Router 2000 (BSR 2000)” during its recently completed certification wave 42.
Motorola said its BSR 2000 is a DOCSIS 2.0-qualified, high-performance cable-modem-termination system/edge router that can be deployed as a stand-alone unit or in small clusters to support small or midsized distribution hubs, multiple-dwelling-unit facilities, or hospitality locations.
