Madison Square Garden Networks earned 17 New York Emmy Award nominations, the New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences said Friday.
Award winners will be announced Sunday, April 3, at the 48th Annual New York Emmy Awards ceremony, to be held at New York’s Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.
The awards cover shows produced for New York state and northern New Jersey, which aired between Sept. 1, 2003-Aug. 31, 2004.
MSG Network earned 15 nominations, while FSN New York and WPIX-TV earned one apiece for New York Mets Major League Baseball telecasts.
“It is a privilege to again be recognized by the New York chapter of NATAS for our industry’s highest honor,” MSG Networks president Michael Bair said in a prepared statement. “These 17 nominations, all achieved in-house, are a credit to the talented professionals who work at the network and who continue our tradition of providing viewers with the very best in sports production.”
