MSNBC was the first news network to report Monday night that a U.S. Air Force
B-1 bomber had dropped four 2,000-pound bombs on a building in Baghdad where
Iraqi President Saddam Hussein may have been.

The network's Carol Rochelle broke the story at 9:18 p.m. EST. Cable News
Network followed the story nearly half an hour later, at 9:43 p.m., and Fox News
Channel was the last news network on the story, running a report at 9:46
p.m.
