With the death of NBC political journalist Tim Russert, MSNBC has made some temporary schedule changes to replace his weekend program on the cable network.

The Tim Russert Show has been airing on MSNBC with a premiere episode Saturdays at noon ET, repeated at 5 p.m., and then again at 2 a.m. and 11 a.m. ET Sundays.

On a temporary basis, the cable network will be airing documentary programming in the show’s Saturday time slots, and live news Sunday at 11 a.m., according to an MSNBC spokesman.
