MSNBC.com Clicks Up Election Coverage

MSNBC.com (www.msnbc.msn.com) will offer extended Election Day coverage, the network said Thursday.

The site’s home page will “provide users with a one-glance read on the status of the presidential race, composition of the House and Senate and the latest on governors’ races and ballot issues of national interest,” MSNBC.com said.

MSNBC.com will also offer live streaming coverage of key events, on-demand reports from NBC and MSNBC correspondents and “every major moment, from voting to candidate victory and concession speeches from around the nation.”

"This is our most comprehensive campaign coverage to date," MSNBC.com editor in chief Dean Wright said in a prepared statement.

"In addition to logging on for in-depth coverage and analysis, users can involve themselves in our election coverage by participating in live surveys and interactive features,” he added. “They can also sign up to have election-night results sent directly to their mobile devices for truly limitless information access."
