MTV Greenlights Ja Rule Reality Series

MTV will produce a comedic docu-series based on the life of rap artist/actor Ja Rule.

The series, Follow The Rules,  centers around the Grammy-nominated rapper and his family.  The series will Executivel Produced by actress/singer Queen Latifah as well as Christian Sarabia, Jeffrey Atkins, Shakim Compere and Irv Gotti, said network officials.


“Ja Rule is the modern day reality rap star version of Bill Cosby’s role from The Cosby Show,” said   Susanne Daniels, President of MTV Programming. “He embraces a unique parenting style with his teenage kids that feels fresh and funny.  We’re excited to be in business with him and his delightful family.”
