P. Diddy's Citizen Change campaign will run a new slate of public-address announcements directed by acclaimed filmmaker Joel Schumacher on MTV: Music Television starting Tuesday night.
The PSAs -- targeting young and minority voters and highlighting the importance of the upcoming presidential campaign -- feature stars such as P. Diddy, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Tony Hawk, Jadakiss, Hilary Duff and Yoko Ono.
The campaign will run through Election Day, Nov. 2.
“Over the next six weeks, Citizen Change will be blanketing the entire nation with our ‘Vote or Die!’ message and engaging the forgotten ones -- young and minority voters -- to get more educated and more involved in this year's presidential election than ever before,” Sean "P. Diddy" Combs said in a prepared statement.
“The election is neck-and-neck,” he added. “[President George W.] Bush and [Sen. John] Kerry [D-Mass.] would be smart to start paying attention to our vote. The forgotten ones will determine the next president of the United States.”
