The MTV Networks Music Group announced Monday that John Shea will now head
sponsorship development and integrated marketing as executive vice
Formerly senior VP of strategic programming, Shea will oversee the
development and execution of all sponsor-related and integrated marketing
opportunities tied to programming on its music networks: MTV: Music Television,
MTV2, VH1 and Country Music Television.
In addition, Shea will work with movie studios to develop TV programming
linked to new theatrical releases.
He will also continue to be liaison between the networks' programming and
ad-sales departments and coordinate advertiser partnerships involving those
networks' Internet, radio, home-video and licensed-merchandise divisions.
Moreover, Shea said he will continue to develop all trade-support materials
for MTVN Music Group, including those related to upfront
