MTV's Top Series Back At The Shore Jan. 5

The G.T.L. set returns to Seaside Heights on Jan. 5.
MTV will premiere its fifth campaign of Jersey Shore at 10 p.m. (ET), with the housemates revisiting their old stomping/partying grounds after their season abroad in Florence, Italy.
Jersey Shore's international excursion averaged a 6.7 rating with MTV's broad demo of persons 12 to 34, translating into 5.4 million of those viewers. Jersey Shore averaged 7.3 million total viewers for its Italian run, after delivering a record 8.8 million for its season four premiere on Aug. 4.
Counting multiple airings and DVR playback, MTV's top series ever averaged 9.4 million viewers and an 8.8 mark against the aforementioned group during its fourth season.
Fans can prepare for the new season by reliving every season four moment when the "Jersey Shore Uncensored: Season Four" DVD is released in stores on Dec. 27.
