MTV Networks’ 24-hour college network, mtvU, said Monday that it will present punk-rock quartet The Distillers’ 2004 North American tour.
The 26-date tour kicks off at the Metro in Chicago Thursday, March 25, and runs through Sunday, April 25, when the band will appear at University of California-Santa Barbara’s The Hub.
mtvU will air an exclusive interview with the band, along with spots promoting the tour and its dates. The network’s Web site (www.mtvu.com) will also present information on the tour and the band, along with pictures from the road and exclusive video.
"There is so much music making a buzz on college campuses, we are really looking forward to supporting a variety of artists this spring through mtvU’s tours and events," senior director of marketing Lori Raimondo said in a prepared statement.
