mun2 Television will enter the reality realm in March with LaFamiliaPerfecta.
The original series will follow five talented young Latinos trying to break into the music industry. LaFamiliaPerfecta is not a competition, the network said -- rather, it chronicles the five performers and the different stages of their musical careers.
“The audience will get to know these five artists as if they were their next-door-neighbors and, because they represent young Latinos from a wide variety of backgrounds, music genres and U.S. cities, viewers will connect with them in a very special way,” mun2 vice president of programming and promotions Yolanda Foster said in a prepared statement.
The show will wrap up with the production of a LaFamiliaPerfecta CD.
