Music Choice Celebrates Pride Month with Special On-Demand Fare

Music Choice is celebrating Pride Month in support of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality with an array of programming. 
From June 4 through July 1, the programmer will proffer a special category entitled "Celebrate Equality" on MC On Demand showcasing videos from artists who promote self confidence and inner pride, including Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, P!nk and Katy Perry.

Also in the folder: Music Choice on June 11 will debut The F Word, featuring Adam Lambert. (Check out the video here.)
To help educate Music Choice viewers, a :45 second PSA from Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Fund, which works to inspire and engage everyone, especially the straight community, to get involved in the advancement of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality, will immediately follow videos in the category The PSAs are part of its Give A Damn Campaign and feature Elton John, Ricky Martin, Kim Kardashian, Jason Mraz, Sharon & Kelly Osbourne and many more. Music Choice will also air the PSA on its web-site and promote LGBT awareness on its social media outlets including Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.
"We are proud to be a part of Music Choice's strong commitment to equality for all through the use of our Give a Damn Campaign PSAs," said Gregory Lewis, executive director of the True Colors Fund, in a statement. "In order for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community to achieve full equality everyone, especially straight people, has to get informed and get involved. We look forward to continuing to spread our message through this important initiative."
