Music Choice signed a carriage agreement with RaySat Broadcasting for 20 of its music channels to be part of the AT&T CruiseCast satellite-delivered in-car entertainment service.
Under the terms of the agreement, AT&T CruiseCast service now offers commercial-free music channels programmed by Music Choice in multiple genres, including alternative, classic rock, 80s, hip-hop and R&B, pop Latino and classical.
RaySat Broadcasting, last month, officially launched CruiseCast with 22 linear channels, delivered via a Ku-band satellite to a pod-like rooftop antenna and connected to a vehicle's rear-seat entertainment system. RaySat Broadcasting uses the AT&T name under a licensing agreement.
Music Choice is a joint-venture partnership of Comcast, Cox Communications, Time Warner Cable, Microsoft, Motorola, Sony and EMI Music.
