FSN will debut CMI: Chris Myers Interview Sunday, June 12 at 4 p.m. (local time), the network said Wednesday.
The 30-minute interview show will start out as a three-episode pilot, with the debut installment featuring former Major League Baseball All-Star Jose Canseco, author of controversial book Juiced, which helped to spark the sport’s steroid issues.
Upcoming episodes will feature former National Basketball Association star and analyst Charles Barkley (June 19) and celebrated NBA coach Phil Jackson (June 26).
“Chris Myers is a unique interviewer who brings a very relaxing and intriguing style to the one-on-one interview process,” FSN executive vice president of programming and production George Greenberg said in a prepared statement.
“These interviews are essentially unedited flowing conversations in which Chris can get to the heart of an athlete in a way no other personality can,” he added.
