The National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) has teamed with technology company Motorola to create a sweepstakes for the group's new members.
The Aloha Sweepstakes, sponsored by Motorola Mobility, Inc., will feature a grand prize trip to attend the Jan. 29 National Football League All-Star Football game in Hawaii, according to NAMIC officials.
Each new member joining NAMIC, as well as current members renewing their memberships during the period Nov. 16 through Dec.14, will be entered for a chance to win the grand prize. Additionally, current NAMIC members will also be entered with each paid new member referral.
Entry forms can be accessed at www.namic.com/membership/motorolasweepstakes and must be filed by Dec. 14.
"We are honored to continue our relationship with Motorola for a second year to offer this value added incentive," said Daphne Leroy, vice president of marketing and communications, NAMIC in a statement. "Professionals at every level of the industry are encouraged to join NAMIC and take advantage of the many benefits that membership provides."
In other NAMIC news, the diversity organization today announced the call for entries for the 2012 NAMIC-Southern California Vision Awards. The Awards honors original content in 16 categories that best reflects the increasingly diverse, multi-ethnic and multi-cultural viewing audience.
Qualified submissions received by the December 22, 2011 entry deadline will be eligible for consideration. Nomination forms and detailed eligibility/submission requirements can be found at http://www.namic.com, said NAMIC.
