Nat Geo To Mark Civil War Anniversary With Specials

National Geographic Channel in April will feature two nights of special programming to mark the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.
On April 11 the network will air back to back hours of the multi-episode special Civil Warriors, which follows 11 Civil War descendants as they seek insights on their ancestors' experiences, according to the network.
The next night the network will air The Conspirator: The Plot To Kill Lincoln, which will look at the assassination of President Lincoln in 1865 and the story of Mary Surratt, the woman convicted and executed as one of the conspiritors in the president's death, network officials said.
