Nationwide, Kia Sponsor Vignettes On USA's 'Fairly Legal'

Nationwide Insurance is onUSA Network's side with a partnership pact for original series Fairly Legal.
The insurance company Nationwide's ‘On Your Side' message will come to life through a customized 30-second on-air Kate Reed "Character Profile" spot with series lead Sarah Shahi. The company's brand message will be amplified through a custom clip-based vignette that explores Reed's unique mediation style and character traits. It will also sponsorship the show's rookie season finale on March 24.
Nationwide joins Kia Motors in supporting Fairly Legal as the auto has linked itself to series co-star Baron Vaughn via two scripted vignettes, which started Feb. 24, and highlight key features of the 2011 Kia Optima. The vignettes were shot on location in the series' San Franciso backdrop.
Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
"Our new USA series presents a fresh sponsorship opportunity for our long-time partners, Kia Motors and Nationwide Insurance," said USA executive vice president, marketing, digital and brand strategy Chris McCumber in a statement. "We used the iconic setting of San Francisco to showcase the Optima's features and the lead character's personality to bring Nationwide's ‘On Your Side' messaging to the forefront. "
