NBA TV Scores With Summer League Coverage

NBA TV’s coverage of the Samsung NBA Summer League 2014 scored a ratings slam dunk during the month of July, according to company officials.

The network’s live game coverage from Las Vegas from July 11 to July 21 averaged 115,000 total viewers, an increase of 28% over last year. The games also posted a 32% increase among men 18-34, according to NBA TV officials. Overall, NBA TV this summer delivered six of its top 10 most-viewed NBA Summer League telecasts of all time, led by the July 11 Milwaukee Bucks-Cleveland Cavaliers game which drew 220,000 viewers – the second most-viewed NBA Summer League telecast for the network.

NBA Digital also generated record visits and video views during Samsung NBA Summer League 2014, with NBA.com and NBA Mobile collectively seeing an 80% increase in visits and more than 70% growth among video views compared with last year, according to company officials.
